The VTech KidiCom Advance has many of the features that you find on a ‘proper’ mobile phone – a camera, an app that allows you to silly filters as you do with Snapchat, a notes section, a calendar, clock, alarm, voice messaging, music player and much more. It also houses a built-in rechargeable battery that gives a pretty reasonable battery life. It has a 5-inch capacitive touchscreen, a 2.0MP rotatable camera and 8GB of internal memory which is expandable up to 40GB with the use of a microSD card. It’s nice and chunky, making it easy for small hands to hold and grip. However, unlike my iPhone, which has seen more than it’s fair share of drops over the years, the VTech KidiCom Advance is robust and can handle them.
